This morning Gypsy, Jackie and I went for a walk that turned into a jog. Walking wasn't enough since I wasn't wearing enough layers to go check the mail. The cold wind cut right through the 3 shirts and 2 pairs of pants I was wearing!

I'm glad to be out of the elements for now; so are they.

Out of forgetfulness I made them a 'special' dinner of chicken gizzards and brown rice last night. Someone forgot to refill the kibble. They had some leftovers for breakfast. There was so much broth leftover. Instead of pitching it I used an ice cube tray and stored the concoction for later. The stink is enormous. Nothing a good hot soapy water and bleach can't handle. The dogs are snoring now; I'm happy and the couch is crowded.
