Dog wandered onto frozen pond around 7 AM the day after Christmas. Those resivor ponds sometimes pose threat to unsuspecting home owners. Not only in cases like this where a domestic animal needed to be rescued but also during the summer months when mosquito populations rise.
Even though the simulated waterfront view from man made resivor ponds are nice features in the landscape, keeping children and pets safe is a top priority.
